Welcome to the Official Gilded Thieves Website

Gilded Thieves; A bespoke banquet of folk and country from Newcastle upon Tyne.

Northumbrian roots, foot-stomping bluesy romps, quirky folky ballads & intricate male & female vocals, delicately arranged around upbeat and engaging fiddle, mandolin & guitar.

This band tell stories. Tales of outlaws and vandals, sinners and sirens are honestly told in lyrics full of soul, uniquely arranged and enchantingly sung in ethereal harmony. Together they create a rich, rhythmic, rootsy shade, complimenting many of the band's darkly romantic lyrics.

The band are currently performing up and down the UK, and recording material for their first official release at the end of this year. So far, they've spent the past two years performing in lighthouses, pirate ships, woodland huts, festival tents and rusty old barns - venues every bit as unique as these five musicians.

Don't miss your chance to see Gilded Thieves. A band 'most likely to win your heart'.

Think Tank!, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear

Album review: Tankus the Henge is a devil bred puppeteer for limbs, heart, and soul. A band which has fused light and dark, seduction and sinisterly honed persuasion into one of the most thrilling and sensationally addictive releases this year. Roll up and enter the welcoming to the dark carnival of Tankus the Henge, you will not regret one second of its fantastic touch.
